Truck and Tank Repair Services
Tank Carrier Services provides professional truck and tank repair services for carriers and fleet operators across Ontario and the U.S. Northeast. From general mechanical work and routine maintenance to federally regulated cargo tank inspections, our experienced mechanics and technicians keep equipment operating safely, cleanly, and in full compliance with regulations. At Tank Carrier Services, we understand that reliable equipment is the foundation of reliable service.
Truck and Trailer Repair
At Tank Carrier Services, we service tractors, flatbed trailers, and tank trailers. Our mechanics and technicians handle the full scope of repair and maintenance work that keeps a commercial fleet running without interruption.
Services include:
- General repairs and maintenance for tractors and trailers
- Oil changes and scheduled preventive maintenance
- Repairs for flatbed and tank trailers
We approach every repair with the same zero-defect standard that defines our transportation operations. Equipment that leaves our facility is ready to perform.
Truck Detailing
Semi-trucks and sleepers operate through demanding conditions. Dusty highways, muddy roads, and long hauls take a visible toll on both the interior and exterior of a vehicle. At Tank Carrier Services, we provide professional detailing services for semi-trucks and sleepers, keeping equipment clean, presentable, and properly maintained.
Clean equipment is not incidental to how we operate. It reflects the same commitment to professionalism that our drivers and customers expect on every delivery. As part of the broader services we offer, truck detailing is one more way we help fleets stay in operating condition.
Annual Cargo Tank Inspections
Tank Carrier Services has DOT-qualified cargo tank inspectors on site at both terminals. All specification cargo tanks must be inspected and tested before they can be loaded and transported, and the procedures governing those tests are federally regulated.
We perform the full range of required inspections and tests:
- V — External Visual Inspection: Required annually
- I — Internal Visual Inspection: Required every five years
- K — Leakage Test: Required annually
- P — Pressure Test: Required every five years
- T — Thickness Test: Required every two years
- UC — Upper Coupler Test: Required every two years
Each test is conducted in accordance with Department of Transportation specifications. If a cargo tank fails any inspection or test, it must be repaired and retested before returning to service. Non-specification tanks are required to have an annual vehicle inspection only.
Having qualified inspectors on site means less downtime and a clear, documented compliance record. Our technology-supported operations extend into how we manage maintenance and inspection scheduling, helping fleets stay ahead of regulatory requirements rather than reacting to them.
Service Area
We provide truck and tank repair, detailing, and cargo tank inspection services at two terminals:
Canadian Terminal 25 Gormley Industrial Ave, Gormley, ON L0H 1G0, with convenient access to Highway 404 and the Greater Toronto Area.
U.S. Terminal 3237 Oneida Valley Road, Emlenton, PA 16373, with convenient access to I-80 and the broader Pennsylvania refinery region. Phone: (724) 791-2200
Both locations are staffed to support the operational and compliance needs of carriers working across Ontario, Quebec, and the U.S. Northeast.
Why Tank Carrier Services
At Tank Carrier Services, repair and maintenance work is handled with the same discipline that defines our transportation operations. Our mechanics and inspectors know bulk liquid transport equipment because we operate it ourselves. That operational context matters when diagnosing problems, setting maintenance priorities, and ensuring that every piece of equipment meets the standards required by safety and compliance.
We hold ourselves to strict service standards, and we apply those same standards to every vehicle that comes through our facilities. Whether you need a routine oil change, a DOT cargo tank inspection, or a trailer repair, we respond promptly and work to get your equipment back in service without compromise.
For inquiries, contact our U.S. terminal directly at (724) 791-2200 or reach out through our website.
