TRAILER MECHANICS WANTED

We are looking for an experienced truck and trailer mechanic. We offer a comprehensive benefits package along with a great work environment. This job position is in Emlenton, PA.

• Responsible for the diagnostics, maintenance and repair of equipment as assigned which includes at a minimum mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Efficiently and reliably inspect and repair cargo tanks to comply with DOT standards
• Ensure timely and accurate updates to repair orders for labor hours, parts, or otherwise in the computer maintenance management system
• Accurately completes all forms, checklists and other documentation as needed by company or regulatory policies.
• Pro-actively participates in identifying and preventing safety issues inside the workshop as well as understanding and following all company safety policies and training as assigned
• Ensures parts pulled from inventory are assigned to repair orders to ensure accuracy and proper billing.
• Maintain an organized and safe workshop before, during and after repairs
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facility Manager

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanical ability and inclination
• Excellent attention to details
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) chemical information
• Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business related software
